Zamfara: Pray, ask God to end insecurity – Matawalle tells Nigerians




Zamfara Governor, Bello Matawalle has urged Nigerians to accentuate prayers for God’s intervention on insecurity.

Matawalle spoke throughout a particular prayer organised by the Ulamau Consultative Committee (UCC).

The Governor attended the Wednesday session held on the Gusau Central Mosque, NAN experiences.

He appealed to residents to enrich the federal government and safety businesses’ efforts in tackling banditry and different challenges.

”Prayer is the one highly effective weapon that may resolve any calamity on the individuals. We should look for Allah’s forgiveness”, Matawalle mentioned.

Prayers have been noticed in all of the Juma’at mosques in Zamfara.

The state has been beneath bandits’ seige lately. Weekly assaults have left tons of useless, kidnapped or injured.

On Wednesday, the Police confirmed the kidnapping of 73 College students of Authorities Day Secondary College in Kaya.

Mohammed Shehu, the spokesman mentioned a lot of bandits invaded the college at about 11:22am on Wednesday.

Commissioner of Police, Ayuba Elkanah suggested the general public, mother and father and relations of the scholars “to train endurance and proceed to hope for the success of the rescue operation”.
