The College students’ Union Authorities (SUG), has reacted to the discharge of the kidnapped pupil of Abia State College (ABSU) Uturu, by unknown gunmen, on Saturday.

DAILY POST gathered that the scholars have been kidnapped whereas transiting in a bus on Okigwe-Uturu Highway.

The Vice-Chancellor of the Abia State College, Professor O. M Ogbulu, confirmed that two of the scholars escaped from the hoodlums whereas one pupil was nonetheless being held by them.

However, the state governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu had introduced on Saturday night, the discharge of the one kidnapped pupil left within the custody of the gunmen.
