The Yobe State Impartial Electoral Fee, (YOSIEC), has put aside Saturday, October 30, 2021 as date for the conduct of bye-election in two wards of Geidam Native Authorities Space within the state.
This was disclosed on Saturday by the chairman of the Fee, Dr. Mamman Mohammed at a stakeholders’ engagement on the way to conduct a bye-election to fill within the hole created after the dying of two Councillors in Geidam Native Authorities according to the availability of the state’s electoral act.
“On Friday, 4th June, 2021, a tragic report for the dying of two Honorable Councilors in Hon. Hassan Bukar Mairami representing Ashekri ward and Hon. Yusuf Mustapha representing Hausari ward all in Geidam native authorities space got here to us.
