The Secretary of the Oyo state chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Ibrahim Mohamed on Wednesday petitioned the state Director of Division of State Companies and the state Commisioner of Police, stating that the governor of the state, Seyi Makinde is after his life.
Mohamed stated the immidiate previous chairman of the NLC within the state, Comrade Bayo Titilayo-Sodo, who’s now the Particular Adviser to Governor Makinde on Labour Issues had threatened to kill him a number of occasions.
He stated Titilayo-Sodo instructed him he was performing on the instruction of Makinde to remove him in order that his authorities can have a great relationship with the NLC within the state.

In a swift response, the previous NLC chairman within the state and Particular Adviser to the Governor on Labour Issues, Titilayo-Sodo described the allegations as libelous.
He stated the letter gave him psychological trauma.
In a letter written by his lawyer, A. A. Abolaji Esq, Titilayo-Sodo demanded the sum of N50 million as compensation for the allegations levelled in opposition to him by labour chief.
