“Governor Samuel Ortom’s newest assertion on the matter is subsequently no contradiction. It actually reaffirms the place of the state in help of ranching and rejection of open grazing. Benue accepted Nationwide Livestock Transformation Plan, NLTP on the situation that it’s going to solely implement elements of the Plan which agree with its regulation on ranching.

“Benue State has no land for grazing reserves. The state has land for ranches in keeping with its regulation!

“Tons of of our folks have been killed and hundreds of others displaced, but, all that the state received was a promise FG made in 2018 to help it to resettle the displaced folks. Three years down the street, that promise has not been fulfilled.
