Emmanuel Kanu, the brother of detained chief of the Indigenous Folks of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has claimed they’ve been denied entry to him.

Since he was repatriated from Kenya to Nigeria, Nnamdi Kanu has been stored within the custody of the Division of State Providers (DSS).

Talking with The Nation, Emmanuel mentioned their efforts to see him by a lawyer have been futile.

He mentioned: “We now have been denied entry to him. We now have made a number of efforts by our lawyer to see him, all to no avail. My brother must be given entry to his personal non-public physician. It’s our stand and place.

“Perhaps they intend to kill him, as a result of I don’t know why they might not permit us entry to see him. As we converse, some authorized steps are being taken as we don’t imagine within the judicial course of right here, however we’ll do what we will.”

Aloy Ejimakor, lawyer to Nnamdi Kanu, has insisted there will probably be no trial for the Biafra agitator.

Ejimakor defined that no trial can be held because of the method wherein Kanu was rearrested and repatriated to Nigeria.
