Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, has condemned the assault on some villages in Ishielu Native Authorities Space by suspected herdsmen.
The killings befell Monday evening in Nkalaha, Obegu, Amazu, Nkalagu and Umuhuali autonomous communities.
A minimum of, 15 individuals have been reportedly killed throughout the assault, allegedly carried out by herders.
NAN experiences that Umahi visited the communities on Tuesday to commiserate with the bereaved households.
The governor charged all the safety companies to go after the perpetrators with a purpose to carry them to justice.
“We really feel so unhappy that this type of factor ought to occur in Ebonyi, we really feel so fearful for our nation Nigeria and we’re in need of phrases.
“We condemn this assault as a result of it’s able to inflicting very severe killings, if allowed to proceed this manner,” he mentioned.
