Troops neutralise ISWAP terrorists, rescue abducted Chibok girl in Borno

Troops of Operation Desert Sanity and the Civilian Joint Process Forces have neutralised terrorists of the Islamic State’s West Africa Province in Borno State.

The terrorist had been neutralized in an “ongoing offensive onslaught” in Borno State on Tuesday.

Based on a tweet by the Nigerian Military on Wednesday, the troops recovered weapons and intercepted one Mrs Mary Ngoshe who’s believed to be one of many kidnapped women from GGSS Chibok in 2014.

”Ongoing offensive onslaught by troops of Operation Desert Sanity together with CJTF recorded one other feat on 14 June 2022 as ISWAP terrorists had been neutralized round Gurzum in Borno State.

”Terrorists’ market and camps had been destroyed. Weapons amongst others had been recovered.

”Troops of 26 Process Drive Brigade on patrol round Ngoshe in Borno State on 14 June 2022 intercepted one Mrs Mary Ngoshe and her son. She is believed to be one of many kidnapped women from GGSS Chibok in 2014. Additional exploitation ongoing,” the tweet learn.
