Three burnt to death in Bayelsa auto crash

Three individuals had been burnt to loss of life in a deadly street accident alongside the East-West Highway in Bayelsa State on Monday evening, June 20.
It was gathered that the accident which occurred at Opokuma junction concerned a Toyota Camry with registration quantity LS 529 KY and a Mazda 323 with registration quantity GBB 532 XA.
Sources stated two individuals concerned within the accident together with a Police Constable survived with numerous levels of minor accidents.
Eye-witness account attributed the accident to over dashing and lack of management which resulted in an head-on collision.
The Toyota Camry was stated to have loaded with petroleum merchandise and triggered a heavy explosion and fireplace which burnt the victims.
Two males and a feminine had been these confirmed lifeless whereas two males survived and had been taken to the hospital for therapy.
A Senior Officer of the Federal Highway Security Corps (FRSC) in Bayelsa who confirmed the accident stated the injured victims had been rescued to a hospital at Yenagoa for therapy.
He additionally disclosed that the accident which triggered site visitors gridlock on the East/ West street was cleared by officers of the FRSC led by the SO OF Kolokuma/Opokuma.
“The 2 vehicles had been burnt? and the victims within the Mazda had been burnt past recognition because the Camry was loaded with adulterated Premium Motor Spirit PMS which sparked the fireplace.
