Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has accredited the appointment Dr Yalwa Tafawa Balewa, daughter of late Nigerian Prime Minister, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, as the brand new Head of Bauchi Company for Orphaned and Weak Youngsters (BASOVCA).

Tafawa Balewa replaces Mrs. Hassana Arkila, who was suspended on 18th October 2021 over alleged misconduct.
