Convener of Involved Nigerian, Deji Adeyanju, has recommended the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enita Ogunwusi, for the step taken on the arrest of Yoruba agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, also referred to as Sunday Igboho.

The Ooni of Ife had constituted a 28-man committee to brainstorm on the problems surrounding the arrest of Igboho.

DAILY POST reported that the group is made up of eminent Yoruba leaders.

Reacting, Adeyanju mentioned Southeast leaders, whom he accused of being afraid, needs to be ashamed.

In a tweet, the activist maintained that self dedication was not against the law.

In response to Adeyanju: “BREAKING: Ooni units up committee on Igboho, rallies south-west leaders.

“All hail the Oni, Igbakeji Orisa. Disgrace on SE leaders. Worry, concern individuals. Northern leaders are nonetheless defending killer herdsmen after they killed over 20,000 Nigerians. Self dedication will not be against the law.”

In the meantime, Igboho was arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic, on Monday night time after fleeing Nigeria.

Safety operatives had arrested the Yoruba nation agitator whereas on his approach to Germany.

Igboho had fled Nigerian after he was declared needed by the Division of State Companies, DSS, after a raid of his residence in Ibadan, Oyo State.
