Strike: Bandits living better than Kaduna workers – Shehu Sani




Nigeria’s widespread Civil Rights activist and former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani has counseled Kaduna staff for embarking on strike.

He stated the strike was an acceptable step by the employees provided that the mass sack of staff by the State governor just a few months in the past has imperilled the situation of staff and Kaduna residents.

In an announcement he signed on Monday and made obtainable to DAILY POST in Abuja, Sani maintained that bandits dwell in higher circumstances than Kaduna staff, urging governor Nasir El-Rufai to reverse the mass sack directly.

He lamented the scenario staff discovered themselves which he stated, they’ve been become ‘destitute and strolling corpses.’

The assertion stated: “The strike motion embarked upon by the NLC in Kaduna is commendable.

“The mass sack of staff in Kaduna state has turned them into destitute, strolling corpses and additional aggravated the safety scenario within the state.

“Employees strikes and protest are basic and democratic rights and must be revered by the state authorities and the safety apparatuses within the state.

“It’s immoral for any authorities to construct any financial construction with the bones of famished folks.

“Kaduna bandits reside higher than Kaduna staff.

“I name on the Authorities of Kaduna to reverse the unjust huge retrenchment.”

Kaduna State staff on Monday commenced a warning strike which is being Championed by the management of Nigeria Labour Congress amid threats by the State authorities to arrest Ayuba Waba.
