Seven arrested for alleged thuggery in Minna

The Niger State Police Command has arrested seven males at completely different places in Minna.

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in a press release on Monday, June 20, mentioned the suspects had been arrested for alleged involvement in thuggery. 

“In an additional effort to make sure sanity and rid Minna metropolis of crime and criminality, on seventeenth to nineteenth, June 2022 based mostly on info obtained that some miscreants from Tunga, Maitumbi, Limawa and Angwan-Daji areas of Minna engaged themselves in a free for all with harmful weapons,” the assertion learn. 

“On receipt of the data, Police patrol groups had been mobilized to those areas and the next seven (7) suspects had been arrested at completely different places in Minna.

The suspects are; Musa Usman (aka Musa Kaura) 21, Mubarak Abubaka, 25, Amaru Usman,16, Okasha Umaru, 16, of Maitumbi, Mustapha Yusuf, 22,Yakubu Isah,29, and Suleiman Abdullahi,24, all of Angwa-Daji space Minna. 

Reveals recovered from their possession embody two knives and cutlasses.  

All suspects will quickly be arraigned in courtroom as quickly as investigation is concluded, the PPRO added.
