Senate confirms Nwoha as S’East Commissioner in NASS Commission

The Senate on Wednesday in Abuja confirmed Hon. Amaechi Nwoha because the Commissioner representing the South East within the Nationwide Meeting Service Fee, NASC.

The affirmation adopted the consideration of a report by the Committee on Institution and Public Service, chaired by Senator Ibrahim Shekarau (APC Kano Central).

Presenting the report on behalf of the chairman, Senator Sensible Adeyemi (APC Kogi West), stated the nominee happy the requirement of Part 4 of the Nationwide Meeting Service Fee Act 2014 as amended.

In keeping with the lawmaker, Nwoha’s antecedents as a legislator within the Imo State Home of Meeting makes him appropriate and competent for appointment within the NASC.

He acknowledged that there was no petition acquired by the committee towards his nomination as Commissioner.

In the meantime, the Senate has handed two payments for concurrence.

The payments are Local weather Change Invoice, 2021, and Adeyemi Federal College of Schooling, Ondo (Institution) Invoice, 2021.

Each payments for concurrence had been sponsored by the Senate Chief, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi (APCKebbi North).
