Security guard allegedly disappears with employer’s dog and other belongings after collecting first salary

A safety guard with a non-public safety agency in Lagos State has allegedly disappeared with a canine and different gadgets belonging to residents of a constructing he was employed to protect.

Steven Meyor, 21, was employed in April and posted to a residential condo in Sogunle within the Oshodi-Isolo Native Authorities Space of Lagos State.

After receiving his first wage on April 30, he allegedly fled his place of posting, Punch reviews.

A resident, Frank Osagie, informed the publication that the guard fled along with his Shitzu canine, car components, electronics, a wall fan, amongst others.

He mentioned: “He was interviewed and began working mid final month (April) with my dad and mom at their house in Sogunle. After he was consumed the evening of the supposed act, he packed all his belongings and took my small Shitzu canine named Sam, then fled on April 30, 2022.

“He stole varied useful gadgets additionally from the residence, together with however not restricted to a safety telephone, furnishings, electronics, car components, a wall fan, a steam iron, amongst others.”
