Security Agencies Not Adequately Empowered Under Buhari —Senate President




Nigerian Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has stated safety businesses have been poorly empowered to deal with insecurity within the nation by President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime.


Mr Lawan made this recognized on Wednesday whereas talking at an ongoing Particular Summit on Nationwide Safety in Abuja, organised by the Home of Representatives.

The Senate President burdened the necessity for the federal government to offer extra sources for safety businesses to allow them to deal with the insecurity successfully.

“Additionally it is necessary that we offer sources or extra sources for our safety businesses to allow them to assemble to deal with the legal actions occurring throughout the nation, our armed forces can do this however the truth stays we have now not enabled them sufficient. Amidst allegations that Buhari’s regime is shielding a selected ethnic group from going through the complete wrath of the legislation following atrocities attributed to them, Lawan advised that every one criminals be handled no matter their ethnic teams.
