Human rights group, Involved Nigerians has known as for the arrest and prosecution of the Code of Conduct Tribunal Chairman, Danladi Umar over his latest assault of a safety guard in Abuja.
The CCT Chairman was seen publicly assaulting a safety guard in a viral video on Tuesday.
Nevertheless, in a press release on Wednesday, Umar denied assaulting the guard, claiming some ‘Biafran boys’ destroyed his windscreen and inflicted accidents on him.
However the Involved Nigerians group in a press release by its Convener, Deji Adeyanju described the assault as distasteful.
