The operation was led by the Inspector Basic of Police Intelligence Response Group, DCP Abba Kyari, and different safety operatives on Tuesday.

Through the operation, a policewoman allegedly held captive by the dislodged ESN males, was reportedly freed.

ESN has been blamed by the federal government and safety companies for inflicting unrest within the South-East and attacking public amenities there.

However the chief of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has denied the allegations, saying ESN was shaped to curb assaults by herdsmen within the area.
