Police South-West DIG, David Folawiyo bows out, Johnson Kokumo takes over

A Deputy Inspector Common of Police, David Femi Oyebanji Folawiyo, on Wednesday, bowed out of the Nigeria Police Drive.

He was pulled out in a vibrant Pull-Out-Parade ceremony on the Drive Headquarters, Abuja.

Inspector-Common of Police, Usman Baba celebrated the “very effective officer and astute Member of the Drive Administration Workforce beneath the present Police management”.

Baba stated Folawiyo shall be drastically missed for his contributions in advancing the course of peace, public security and safety in Nigeria.

The retired DIG, a member of Nationwide Institute of Coverage and Strategic Research (NIPSS), joined the Police in March, 1988 as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

The holder of Bachelor of Arts diploma in English and a Grasp’s diploma in Worldwide Relations was answerable for the South-West zone.

He coordinated the event and approval of the Police ICT POLICY and served as DIG, Division of Info and Communication Expertise (ICT).

In the meantime, the IGP has accredited Ag. DIG Johnson Babatunde Kokumo as oversee the South-West.

Till the elevation, he was the Assistant Inspector Common of Police (AIG) in-charge of the Zone-2 Headquarters, Lagos.

Kokumo can be heading the Division of Analysis and Planning on the Drive Headquarters.
