Police raid criminal hideout in Adamawa, kill three kidnappers, rescue victim



Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have raided a legal hideout at Husa mountain in Hong Native Authorities Space of the state and killed three suspected kidnappers.


Spokesperson of the command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who disclosed this in an announcement stated its operatives achieved the feat with assist from native hunters. 


Based on him, a kidnap sufferer was rescued throughout the operation whereas one AK-47 rifle, military camouflage uniform, chains, pardlocks, and charms have been recovered. 


“On the 11/5/2022, the Command disconnect the legal community at HUSA Mountain connecting a part of Kala’a, Mijili and Mutuku Villages in Hong native authorities space,” Nguroje said.


“The operation which was carried out by the Command operatives connected to Kala’a Division and the Hunters at Husa Mountain, that’s located at a distant aspect of Kulinyi District in Hong native authorities,yielded optimistic consequence


“The result of those successes follow-up on technique designed by the command to checkmate circumstances bordering on kidnapping, armed theft, Cattle rustling, illegal possession of firearms, amongst others


“The suspected kidnappers upon sighting our males engaged them in a gun dwell because of this three of them have been neutralized, others escaped with bullet wounds whereas one Buba Umaru 25years, a resident of Kwajiga village was rescued unhurt,” he added. 


The Commissioner of Police within the state, CP SK Akande, whereas commending Dpo Kala’a, his males and hunters for disconnecting the crime community and gallantry efficiency displayed, directed different DPOs to do identical as a technique for checkmating crimes and criminals of their Areas of duty.
