Police Arrest Three Ogun Residents For Killing 22-Year-Old Over Alleged Phone Theft



Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested three younger males for torturing one Tunji George to loss of life on allegation of stealing.

An announcement from the command’s spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed that the three suspects; Felix Sunday, Shomuye Musa and Oluwatobi Michael tortured the sufferer on an allegation of stealing an iPhone 6.

The police added, “The suspects had been arrested following a report by one Bola George who reported at Onipanu Divisional Headquarters that her brother was alleged to have stolen a iPhone 6 at Keke resort in Iyana Iyesi Ota, consequent upon which the deceased was tied with rope within the resort and tortured to loss of life.

“Having realised that the sufferer was about giving up the ghost, the suspects rapidly rushed him to the hospital, however earlier than they acquired to the hospital, the sufferer has kicked the bucket.”


The Divisional Police Officer, Bamidele Job, instantly mobilised his males to the scene and apprehended two of the suspects whereas the remaining one was arrested within the resort.
