It was a second of grief at Umugama village, Ukwulu, Dunukofia Native Authorities Space of Anambra state as mates and properly wishers gathered for the burial ceremony of Late Chief Emeka Morocco Maduka, popularly often called ‘Eze Egwu Ekpili’.
Chief Morocco, who died on the age of seventy six years, made his mark in music with the standard Egwu Ekpili music, as he was credited with the modernization of the standard folklore music with trendy musical devices and sound.
His songs centered on moralistic, philosophical and quite a few points that confronted the society.
Chief Morocco is survived by spouse, Mrs. Bridget Ifeonugekwu Maduka and 7 youngsters.
The burial ceremony was attended by the standard ruler of Ukwulu, Igwe Peter Uyanwa, former Governor of Anambra state Peter Obi, his producer Chief Samuel Nwobu of Sammy Sparkle, Members of Performing Musicians Affiliation of Nigeria from completely different chapters and a number of different dignitaries.
