The Prelate of Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr. Samuel Chukwuemeka Kanu-Uche has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to pay repentant Boko Haram members and bandits N25, 000 month-to-month stipends.

Kanu-Uche stated starvation and poverty made the Northerners embrace terror and banditry.

He burdened that the fee of such stipends would cease youths from partaking in terrorism.

Addressing journalists in Abuja yesterday, the cleric appealed to the Federal Authorities to not underestimate the affect Sheikh Ahmad Gumi within the struggle in opposition to banditry.
