Oyo NUJ calls for arrest of killers of Ibadan-based journalist




The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, has referred to as on the state authorities to fish out the killers of an Ibadan-based journalist, Titus Badejo.


The council Chairman, Mr Ademola Babalola made the decision in condolence message issued on Sunday to newsmen in Ibadan, NAN experiences.

Badejo was killed at a preferred nightclub within the Oluyole space of Ibadan on Saturday.

Previous to his unlucky demise, he was an On-Air Persona (OAP), Disc Jockey (DJ) and sports activities presenter.

.Within the assertion, the NUJ chairman charged Gov. Seyi Makinde and Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko, to make sure the killers have been apprehended and made to face the total wrath of the legislation.

Babalola additional described the killing of Badejo as one homicide too many for the union to grasp.

“We mourn the premature passing on and grotesque homicide of Titus Badejo, a journalist.

“Below the duvet of darkness, the assailants snuffed life out of a promising younger man who had a brilliant future.

“What a merciless life! Could the perpetrators of this lethal act by no means know peace, might the wrath of God descend on them wherever they’re,” he stated.
