Ortom, Suswam charge Sankera residents to unite against external forces

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom and Senator representing Benue North West, Dr Gabriel Suswam on Saturday charged residents of Sankera constituency which contains of Ukum, Emblem and Katsina-ala native authorities areas to stay united in opposition to exterior forces because the battle in opposition to insecurity continues.

DAILY POST reviews that the constituency had in current instances witnessed unrest over assaults on communities by unknown gunmen and suspected Fulani herdsmen.

Recall that about 36 residents have been on Friday morning slaughtered within the Katsina-ala native authorities space when armed males suspected to be Fulani militias stormed the realm.

Senator Suswam who described the loss of life of Hanny Kyenge as painful, charged youths and stakeholders from Sankera to place apart partisan politics and work collectively to deal with the insecurity within the space to regain the misplaced glory of the individuals.

Tor Sankera, Chief Abu King Shuluwa who described life and loss of life as creations of God, lamented the killing of 11 conventional rulers and lots of others in Sankera by prison components and bandits.

Speaker of the Benue State Home of Meeting, Hon Titus Uba and member representing Katsina-Ala, Emblem and Ukum on the Nationwide Meeting, Hon Richard Gbande of their separate contributions, prayed God to grant the deceased everlasting relaxation.

Head of the bereaved household, Hon Kester Kyenge, expressed gratitude to Governor, Senator Suswam and all who stood with the household of their time of bereavement.
