Ortom, Makinde in Delta for burial of Gov Okowa’s father [PHOTO]

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State and his Oyo State counterpart, Seyi Makinde, and others are at the moment in Asaba, the Delta State capital, for the burial of Chief Arthur Uzoma Okowa, the daddy of the state Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa.

Chief Arthur Okowa, who died on January 28, 2021, can be interred on Saturday [today] at Owa-Alero in Ika North East Native Authorities Space of the state.

The Governor’s father who hails from Owa-Alero group, died in Asaba, the state capital, on the age of 88.

Till his demise, the late Chief Arthur Uzoma Okowa, popularly known as AOU, was the Okpara-Uku of Owa-Alero.

DAILY POST learnt that some political officers and different dignitaries on Saturday, arrived within the state to witness the interment of the deceased and to mourn with the governor.
