Ondo govt reviews 24-hour curfew imposed on Ikare




The Ondo State Authorities has reviewed the 24hour curfew imposed on Ikare, Akoko North East Native Authorities Space of the State, from 7 pm to 7 am.


Consequently, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has instructed that from Monday, the nightfall to daybreak curfew from 7 pm to 7 am would take impact.

This was contained in a press release by Donald Ojogo, the state Commissioner for Data and Orientation, on Sunday in Akure.

Recall that the 24-hour curfew was ordered on the heels of the violence that erupted over the chieftaincy dispute during which six individuals had been reportedly killed.
