Olokun spirit behind peace, wealth in Badagry, Lagos – Gani Adams



Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, has declared that the peace and wealth loved in Badagry and Lagos State had been from the Olokun spirit.

Olokun is a revered deity. In Yoruba parlance, the phrase means the goddess/god of the ocean.

The chief Olokun shrine is situated within the Ilode space of Ile-Ife in Osun State.

Adams mentioned the forthcoming 2021 version of the Olokun Competition would additional undertaking the tradition and custom of the Yoruba race.
