Ohanaeze condemns Army officer’s dehumanization of NYSC member




Ohanaeze Ndigbo has expressed anger over the maltreatment of Ezeiruaku Ifenyinwa Fidelia, a Nationwide Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member in Cross River.

Fidelia is serving within the thirteenth Brigade Command of the Nigerian Military in Calabar, the state capital.

She was dehumanized by Lt. Chika Viola Anele, an assault that went viral after it was caught on digicam.

A press release on Friday by Ohaneze President in Cross River, Ugoji Nwabueze condemned the unprofessional act.

Nwabueze stated the incident positioned the integrity and public relations rules of the military earlier than the courtroom of public conscience.
