Obadiah Mailafiya: Senator Shehu Sani mourns ex-CBN Deputy Governor




Former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted to the dying of Dr. Obadiah Mailafiya.

Obadiah Mailafia, a former deputy governor of the Central Financial institution of Nigeria (CBN, died on Sunday morning from an undisclosed sickness at age 64.

Shehu Sani wrote on his verified Fb wall on Sunday;

“Dr Obadiah Mailafiya has stepped out of this troubled,troubling and turbulent World.He’s into the realm of immortality.

“He left for us the recollections of his highly effective phrases and shattering reality. He forged the sunshine of justice and freedom at nighttime corners of energy.

“Dr Mailafiya epitomised braveness, conscience and conviction. Every time he speaks, he breaks the ceiling of concern and unsettles a nation allergic to the reality.

“He saved energy on its toes together with his details and intelligence. He was a northern star who shined within the darkness of silence and give up. He raised the ethical bar together with his boldness.He was a person whose reality is with no season. Like most greats and champions of freedom, He impressed many and irritated the institution in his journey of life.
