A former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has condemned the directive from the Nationwide Broadcasting Fee (NBC) instructing tv and radio stations to cease divulging particulars of their stories concerning the actions of bandits, kidnappers and insurgents within the nation.

Shehu Sani whereas reacting to the directive, wrote on his Twitter web page, ”Once you see bullets on the bottom, NBC desires you to say it’s groundnuts.



”Once you hear gunshots, NBC desires you to say it’s fireworks. Once you see blood, they need you to say it’s lipsticks. Once you see bandits, they need you to say it’s masquerade.”

NBC had given a brand new directive to media retailers to use warning of their reportage, saying too many particulars could negatively have an effect on the efforts of safety businesses preventing insurgency within the nation.

“The Fee, subsequently, urged broadcasters to collaborate with the federal government by not giving particulars of both the safety points or victims of those safety challenges in order to not jeopardise the efforts of the Nigerian troopers and different safety brokers,” the order learn.
