Nigerians Lambast Actor, Yemi Solade For Backing Buhari-led Government On Twitter Ban

Nigerians on social media have lampooned veteran actor, Yemi Solade, for backing the Muhammadu Buhari-led authorities on the current Twitter ban.

Solade had in an interview with GoldmyneTV described the transfer because the “greatest choice the Presidency may have made”.



The actor acknowledged that the microblogging platform went too far by insulting Buhari and by extension, all Nigerians.

He stated, “This isn’t the primary time Twitter will attempt to humiliate Nigeria. It occurred to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome some years again. I feel the white supremacist and imperialist tendencies needs to be curbed generally.
