Nigerian Soldier Leaks Shoot-At-Sight Order, Advises Orlu Residents To Relocate

A yet-to-be-identified Nigerian Military soldier has warned residents of Orlu city in Imo State to both relocate or be vigilant as some personnel had allegedly been given a shoot-at-sight order within the ongoing battle with the Jap Safety Community operatives.

The soldier, who spoke pidgin English in an audio obtained by SaharaReporters, added that he wouldn’t perform the plan, and subsequently, he had been allegedly marked by the military commander to be arrested and probably killed.

Orlu has been a battleground of current between the military and ESN operatives, with the army saying on Friday that it killed 11 ESN and IPOB operatives in a gun duel.

The soldier, who’s connected to the 302 Artillery Regiment, Onitsha, Anambra State, warned residents of the city to relocate primarily based on their commander’s alleged order.

Within the audio obtained by SaharaReporters, the soldier mentioned, “They first carried us (deployed us) to Maiduguri (Borno State). Then, 25 of us got here again hoping that the matter was ended. Then they carried us to 302 Artillery, Onitsha. All of us had been contained in the barracks in Onitsha until 12pm this afternoon.

“When the struggle led to Orlu, the commander now mentioned anyone we see, we must always hearth them.

“I urge you, due to God, in case your particular person is in Orlu, from now until Monday, attempt to inform them. Inform them to vary the situation for now. Instantly I left the barracks, the commander mentioned I used to be going out to reveal them and ensure they get me and kill me.

“See the material that I’m placing on. I did not purchase these garments with my cash, if you happen to comply with this line, I used to be given this fabric and I’ve stored my uniform.”
