Nigerian man expresses disappointment after he was allegedly told by the police to ‘hope and pray’ following his report that his dad who served in the Army for 35 years had been kidnapped
A Nigerian man has taken to his Twitter deal with to specific his disappointment at safety brokers in Nigeria following the kidnapping of his father who’s a retired Military officer.
In a Twitter thread, @redlion_tw talked about that his father served within the Military for 35 years and represented Nigeria in peacekeeping excursions in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Sudan earlier than his retirement. He mentioned his dad was not too long ago kidnapped from his nation residence and that after paying ransom twice, his father is but to be launched by the abductors.
The distraught man mentioned efforts to get the police to assist have proved abortive. In line with him, the police instructed him they can not assure his father’s protected launch and that he ought to simply ‘Hope and Pray’.
