Nigeria Immigration: ​Babandede bows out, Jere in as acting CG



Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Comptroller Common, Muhammad Babandede has ‘bowed’ out of service.

A valedictory service on Friday on the headquarters was attended by serving, retired officers in addition to Babandede’s household/members and associates.

Babandede famous that super adjustments had been made underneath his management with the help of officers and males.

“I’m very proud at the moment. I’m leaving the Service higher that I met it. I’ve made my contributions and I pray that successive leaders will enhance on what we now have finished,” he mentioned.


Dr. Sam Nwosu, Dr. Tony Luka Elumelu of the ECOWAS Fee and Mr. Rafael Rois Molina of FIAPP /ATPSOM hailed Babandede for his efforts and achievements.

The previous CG handed the baton of management to Deputy Comptroller Common, Idris Isah Jere who turns into the appearing CG.

Till now, Jere was in-charge of the Directorate of Finance and Accounts.

A pull-out parade for Babandede might be held on Monday, thirteenth September on the parade floor of the headquarters in Abuja.
