Navy SBS, Army invade Boko Haram, ISWAP camps, find grenades

Particular Boat Service (SBS) unit of the Naval Base Lake Chad (NBLC) and 403 Particular Power Amphibious Brigade, Nigerian Military, performed a clearance operation in Baga, Borno State.

The army personnel, assisted by Civilian Joint Process Power (CJTF) operatives, focused Boko Haram and ISWAP camps.

A press release by Navy Data Director, Suleman Dahun mentioned the offensive was led by Commander NBLC, Commodore Alexander Bingel.

The operation lasted 4 days and lined the Federal Faculty of Freshwater Fisheries Expertise (FCFFT), Doro Baga, Tangon Guava, Kwatan Gaba and Kwatan Kuyet.

Dahun declared that the raid was profitable and resulted within the restoration of a field of 40mm Automated Grenade Launcher (AGL) balls.

The spokesman mentioned Bingel recommended the troops for his or her self-discipline, braveness and doggedness.

“The troops projected additional to make sure no components of ISWAP terrorists have been left inside the space”, Dahun added.
