President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday stated his administration has put aside N600 billion mortgage to assist 2.4 million farmers throughout the nation.
Buhari stated farmers can assess the mortgage by means of the Agro-Processing Productiveness Enhancement and Livelihood Enchancment Assist challenge (APPEALS).
He disclosed this on the opening of the Nationwide Agricultural Present/Exhibition of the 2021 World Meals Day, on Wednesday, in Abuja, NAN stories.
Represented by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Improvement, Dr Mohammed Abubakar, the president stated his authorities was decided to deal with the challenges of Nigeria’s Agricultural sector.
”The Federal Authorities, by means of the Agro-Processing Productiveness Enhancement and Livelihood Enchancment Assist challenge (APPEALS), has put aside N600 billion as mortgage assist to farmers throughout the nation.
