Miyetti Allah Chairman abducted in Kogi




Gunmen wearing military camouflage have kidnapped Alhaji Wakili Damina, Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Affiliation of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Kogi State.


Mr Adamu Abubakar, the state Secretary of MACBAN, who confirmed the incident mentioned Damina was kidnapped on April 30.

Abubakar defined that some witnesses of the kidnapping who gave particulars of the incident mentioned the gunmen numbering about eight, got here in a white bus at about midday and “forcefully” took away the Chairman from his home at Chikara village, Kogi Native Authorities.

He additionally confirmed that Damina’s youthful brother witnessed the incident.

The Secretary mentioned Damina’s quantity was switched off when he repeatedly referred to as about an hour later.

Abubakar defined that he instantly notified the state Commissioner of police of the event, including that the state authorities was additionally knowledgeable by the Particular Adviser on safety issues to the governor, Mr Jerry Omodara.
