Militants don’t kidnap children – Fani-Kayode replies Sheikh Gumi on amnesty for bandits

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Nigerian minister, has condemned an announcement credited to Kaduna-based Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, demanding amnesty for bandits.

Gumi in a Fb submit stated bandits are going nowhere till the Nigerian Authorities grants them amnesty prefer it did to the Niger Delta militants.

Fani-Kayode, reacting to the assertion which has continued to generate controversy, informed Sheik Gumi to not evaluate Niger Delta militants to bandits because the latter doesn’t rape or abduct kids from colleges.

Based on him, Gumi’s demand is asinine and unacceptable.

On his Twitter web page, he wrote: “ For Gumi to say that the killer bandits & terrorists usually are not going anyplace until and till they’re given amnesty just like the Niger Delta militants is asinine and unacceptable.

“The Niger Delta militants didn’t goal, rape, kill girls and they didn’t abduct kids from their colleges.”
