Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has ordered the Vice-Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola College of Expertise (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Prof Michael Ologunde to vacate workplace.
The letter was signed by the Commissioner for Training, Science and Expertise, Olasunkanmi Olaleye.
Olaleye directed Ologunde to “‘step apart till additional discover.”
He was directed handy over to the following principal officer in rank with a purpose to guarantee uninterrupted circulation of regular actions.
No motive was given for the sack. Ologunde reportedly drew Makinde’s anger for allegedly inciting staff of the establishment over unpaid salaries.
LAUTECH, previously collectively owned with Osun State, is now underneath the only management of the Oyo authorities.
The governor inaugurated the brand new Governing Council on April 1.
