Lagos police spokesperson debunks claim American woman was hypnotized by suspected Yahoo boy, gives clarification
The spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has dismissed experiences that an American girl was hypnotized and ”held” by her suspected Yahoo boyfriend within the Badagry space of the state.
In a video that made the rounds on social media at the moment June 15, some individuals residing within the space claimed that the girl is an American who claimed she received into Nigeria from California three days in the past and simply returned to her senses this morning.
Hundeyin whereas debunking this declare mentioned the Caucasian woman is a German and the mentioned man is her husband. He mentioned the couple has been residing within the neighbourhood since 2019. He mentioned that they had a misunderstanding throughout which neighbors intervened and the police have been invited. He mentioned their dispute was resolved and the couple returned to their residence.
He additionally said that the girl refused to permit the police to contact the German embassy on her behalf.
