This comes amid fears of the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic following the affirmation of the Delta variant of the coronavirus within the nation.



The six states embrace Lagos, Oyo, Rivers, Kaduna, Kano, and Plateau.

This was contained in an announcement on Saturday signed by the Secretary to the Authorities of the Federation/Chairman, Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha.

Mustapha warned different states to extend their stage of preparedness and proceed to implement all COVID-19 protocols.
