The Lagos State Inside Income Service (LIRS) on Monday resumed sealing of corporations and hospitality corporations over unpaid consumption taxes, closing up 16 corporations throughout tax legislation enforcement.

Mr. Seyi Alade, the LIRS Director of Authorized Providers, mentioned through the state-wide enforcement had resolved to wield the stick on defaulters who insist on shortchanging the state authorities.

Alade mentioned the corporations sealed had been eating places, resorts and visitor homes.

He listed the sealed corporations to incorporate Café Trance, Maple Cottage, Imperial Chinese language Delicacies, Queens Park Occasion Centre, Axor Suites, New World Inn, Inspiro Galaria, Grace Backyard Occasion, Cristabol Place, and Blue Moon Resort.

Alade mentioned that the others included Kamal’s Crib, Citi View Resort, seventh Heaven and Infinity Platinum Bar and Restaurant.

He mentioned the tax liabilities of the affected corporations lined from 2013 to 2020.
