Kogi: Gov Bello swears in three high court judges

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, on Tuesday, administered the oath of workplace on three newly-appointed excessive court docket judges within the state.

Two of the brand new judges, Hon. Justice Abubakar Suleiman Ibrahim and Hon Justice Sulayman Abdullahi, have been till their appointment, the Chief Registrar of the Excessive Court docket and the Secretary of the Judicial Service Fee of the state respectively.

The third, Hon. Justice Aminu Ali Eri, was a Justice of the Peace with the FCT Excessive Court docket of Justice.

The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, expressed confidence within the new judges whereas noting that their confirmed observe file of competency will information them of their new calling.

Following the event, Hon. Chief Choose of the State, Hon. Justice Richard Olorunju Olorunfemi, accepted the appointment of Barr. Clement Kejere because the Chief Registrar of the Excessive Court docket and Barr. Joseph Sunday Ajesola because the Secretary of the Judicial Service Fee of the state.

In the meantime, the newly-appointed judges are to be introduced to the department of the Nigerian Bar Affiliation (NBA) in Kogi State tomorrow, sixth October 2021, on the headquarters of the Kogi State judiciary.
