A Nigerian human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore has countered the choice of the Nationwide Affiliation of Nigerian College students, NANS to droop its deliberate protest on June 12.


DAILY POST recollects that NANS had scheduled to stage protest in all elements of the nation on June 12 to decry the deteriorating safety state of affairs ravaging the nation significantly the kidnapping of scholars within the North and different areas.

Nevertheless, the NANS’ President, Sunday Asefon, introduced on Friday morning that the deliberate protest has been suspended over the concern of being hijacked by some parts who might produce other agenda.

However Sowore in a tweet on his official Twitter web page on Friday mentioned the protests would maintain.

He acknowledged this why reacting to the suspension of the report by NANS.
