The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has postponed the registration train for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry initially slated to start on Thursday, April 8.

In a press release on Thursday, the board’s head of media and protocol, Fabian Benjamin mentioned the shift was to make sure ending touches are put on PIN merchandising processes earlier than the take-off of the train.

He mentioned: “The Board’s registration train was to start at the moment eighth April 2021. To make certain all processes are accomplished earlier than the graduation, the Board didn’t place its advertorial as we have but to finish the method of a easy PIN merchandising and candidate entry to the registration app for the 2021 UTME/DE.”

He said that the commercial is the surest indication of the start of the train because it has all of the step-by-step processes that candidates are required to observe.

He added: “The delay is brought on by some unexpected circumstances occasioned by our decided effort to have a NIN integration. This problem is being resolved and as soon as that’s performed, all processes shall start.”

Whereas asking candidates to train some persistence, he mentioned, “The method shall be up and working shortly for our commercial to be rolled out in order that candidates can start the creation of the profile.”
