Insecurity: We have not been paid allowances for eight months – Policemen cry in Zamfara

Some police operatives on particular duties in Zamfara State have lamented that they haven’t been paid their operational allowances for eight months.

The aggrieved policemen instructed DAILY POST that they’d been confronting bandits and risking their lives in Zamfara, but their allowances had been being withheld.

In keeping with one among them, “the allowances earmarked for us has not been paid for eight months now.

“After we put intense stress, they now introduced cash and began paying N20,000 per police cellular officer and never all of us had been paid, particularly these working inside the forest.”

They pleading with the Federal and the State governments to return to their rescue “and pay us arrears of eight month allowances to encourage us.

“We can’t be serving our fatherland with our would possibly solely to be handled wrongly as if we’re not human beings”.
