INEC suspends CVR exercise in Yobe




The Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) in Yobe State stated it has suspended the Proceed Voter Registration (CVR) train to facilitate the show of latest entrants’ registers between Tuesday 21 September 2021 and Monday 4 October 2021.

That is contained in a press assertion issued on Tuesday and signed by the Head of Division Operations which indicated that the preliminary register of voters will likely be displayed in all 17 Native Authorities Areas INEC workplaces as from 24 to 30 September 2021.

“The essence of the show is to provide the registrants the chance to examine and be certain that there was no mistake of their particulars and make the required corrections in them.

“The Fee will entertain any claims and objections made with the view to updating the registers and put together for the manufacturing of the PVC”, it stated.

In keeping with the electoral physique, the second part of the CVR train will start on Monday the 4th of October, 2021, in all designated centres of the state headquarters and native authorities space INEC workplaces.
