The Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has prolonged the prevailing curfew imposed on Aba, Umuahia, Ohafia and Arochukwu to 2 extra native governments, together with Umunneochi and Bende.

The Governor gave the directive in an announcement issued by the Secretary to Abia State Authorities, Barr Christ Ezem, on Tuesday.

“The brand new curfew regime are given as follows; Aba and Umuahia municipal areas: 8pm to 6am day by day.

“Ohafia, Umunneochi, Bende and Arochukwu LGAs: 6pm to 6am day by day.

“Solely these on important duties with correct identification are exempted from the curfew.
