I may turn pastor after eight years as governor – Abiodun

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has indicated curiosity in turning into a pastor after serving ‘eight years’ in workplace as governor.

DAILY POST studies that Governor Abiodun’s first time period in workplace ends in 2023.

Along with his assertion, the governor appears to have hinted that he would run for a second time period.

Abiodun, whereas talking on the 108th Nigeria Baptist Conference held on the Baptist Worldwide Convention Centre, Lufuwape City, alongside Lagos-Ibadan freeway, stated he loves studying, finding out and sharing the the Bible, saying “I could find yourself on the pulpit after I’ve served as governor for eight years.”

The occasion, was attended by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Senator Ishaku Abbo amongst others

Governor Abiodun famous that if Nigerians might observe the directions of God of their day by day actions, the nation wouldn’t discover itself in its present predicaments.

He charged Nigerians to not lose hope, stating that “all we want is the worry of God.”

On the occasion, which equally served as valedictory and commendation providers for the retiring President of the Baptist Conference, Nigeria and the President, Christians Affiliation of Nigeria (CAN) Dr (Reverend) Samson Ayokunle, Abiodun and Obasanjo counseled the person of God for a profitable tenure.

Former President Obasanjo lauded Ayokunle for serving meritoriously, praying that God would give him new power to proceed the work of God.

He expressed confidence that Nigeria would survive its current troubles.
